Tri-C’s Honors Program provides an academically rewarding and enriching learning experience for all qualified students. The Honors Program is separate from, but complements, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Students in the Honors Program are invited to participate in various cultural events, co-curricular experiences and honors colloquia to supplement the honors classes they take as part of the program. Membership is free and scholarships are available. Students intending to transfer to a four-year institution after completing their coursework at Tri-C are especially encouraged to consider the Honors Program. The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center
The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Humanities Center on the Eastern Campus provides students in the Mandel Scholars Academy with the opportunity to study the liberal arts through civic engagement opportunities and leadership development. The program prepares students for a smooth transition into further education. Students at any campus can be Mandel Scholars. The program provides tuition for qualified students. Mandel Scholars Academy
The Mandel Scholars Academy curriculum nurtures the region’s future leaders through integrated learning that combines classes, seminars, lectures and events focused on civic and community engagement. You will work collaboratively with community organizations and leaders through guided coursework in the humanities — with a special focus on leadership — while learning about the community, our region and its vibrant history.
The program will provide you with a pathway to study leadership and develop your own leadership skills. It is intended to help you to recognize your own potential and to create positive change for yourself and our community. The Robert L. Lewis Academy of Scholars
The Robert L. Lewis Academy of Scholars provides an unparalleled experience for ambitious students who have a passion for social justice and wish to make a difference in their communities and in the world. This program requires a commitment of a complete academic year and is divided into Fall Semester and Spring Semester components, and includes an individualized student project that address a personal interest to "change the world".
