“Baking Legacy: Preserving Family Culinary Heritage” is a unique and interactive cooking class that combines the art of baking with the exploration of family heritage. This course invites participants to delve into the basics of genealogy research to build a family tree while rediscovering and recreating beloved dessert recipes that evoke cherished food memories. Students are encouraged to bring handwritten family recipe cards and photos of loved ones connected to a cherished recipe, though it is not required. If you don’t have any core food memories or family recipes, this class is also a space to create and document new traditions that reflect your story and legacy.
