The Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is the gold standard in project management certification. Recognized and demanded by organizations worldwide, the PMP validates your competence to perform in the role of a project manager, leading and directing projects and teams. The PMP Certification proves you have the project leadership and expertise for predictive, hybrid or agile project management.

Before you apply, make sure you meet one of the the PMP certification requirements:

  • High school or secondary school diploma
  • Minimum 60 months/5 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
  • 35 hours of project management education/training.

OR

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (or global equivalent)
  • 36 months/3 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
  • 35 hours of project management education/training. 

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or global equivalent) from a GAC accredited program
  • 24 months/2 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
  • 35 hours of project management education/training (GAC core project management course work is
    pre-approved to fulfill this requirement)

With the completion of this course, you will have fulfilled the PMP® Exam prerequisite of 35 hours of project management education and received additional contact hours designed to guide you in exam preparation.

Note:  PMI PMP Exam fees are separate cost.
