Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (OGTPs)

As part of the Ohio Transfer to Degree Guarantee, the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) establishes statewide guaranteed transfer pathways from two-year to four-year degree programs in an equivalent field. This effort is directly related to Ohio’s initiatives for college affordability and degree completion.

Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (OGTPs) enable students to streamline credit transfer among the state's public institutions of higher education to find the best pathways to degree completion and launch successful careers. Agreed upon between Ohio's public two- and four-year institutions, these transfer pathways confirm that Tri-C courses meet general education and academic major preparation requirements and that credits earned at the College will apply toward a bachelor’s degree.
