Program description
This 120-hour program provides a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training in driver safety, cargo safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, tank vehicles and hazardous materials. Training includes pre-trip vehicle inspection, vehicle control and on-road driving (required for skills testing).

Prerequisites:
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Ohio CDL-B license
- CDL-A learner's permit
- Pass DOT physical/drug screening
- Pass TDA driving skills assessment test
Program cost
$4,000 plus $200 nonrefundable administrative fee
Financial aid eligibility
This program is not Federal Financial Aid/Pell Eligible.

Upon completion students receive
- Tri-C Achievement Award
- CDL-A license (upon successful examination)
