About: Miriam Bennett is an artist and educator who began her career making film and media installations for museum and gallery exhibitions before moving into cinematography and film. Her short documentaries aired on Showtime from 2011-2017 and were incorporated into school curricula across the United States.
Bennett has served on several boards and chairs the education committee for the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Foundation. A 2020 Akron Soul Train fellow, her recent film installations have been exhibited in Cleveland, Siena, Italy, and Arles, France. She enjoys connecting students to interdisciplinary learning and professionals in their chosen fields. During the pandemic, Bennett's students collaborated with similarly quarantined artists across five continents to create the “A Little Bit of Love” music video. American Songwriter praised the project as “embodying the best and most marvelous of the human spirit.” Bennett feels that beautifully describes the students she is lucky to work with at Tri-C.

About: Branislav (Bruno) R. Tatalovic, a Serbian-American motion picture artist and media educator, was born in 1966 in Yugoslavia. In his early immigrant years, he worked in the metal and steel industries while attending Tri-C classes in the evening. He earned his first college degree in 1997. As an artist and content creator, Tatalovic produced and directed several award-winning short films and three feature films (distributed internationally via digital streaming). His works were shown at numerous state, national and international film festivals, and he received awards for producing, directing, writing, editing and acting, such as the 2010 Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation award for short film production, the 2016 Indie Filmmakers Hall of Fame award at the Indie Gathering Festival for teaching, and a special recognition from the city of Cleveland Mayor's Office in 2017 for his feature film Lux in Tenebris (made in Ohio and published and streamed via Amazon Prime). In 2018, he founded the Kinodrome Film Festival, an annual short-form motion picture and screenplay event for up-and-coming artists and student content creators. Tatalovic is a tenured professor of media studies at Tri-C, an independent visual artist, a screenwriter and a member of the American Association of University Professors and the National Academy of Television Arts.
