About: Christopher Huhnke is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio and Pennsylvania, has SI (formerly called surveyor-in-training) status in Ohio and is a Geographic Information Systems Professional. In addition to his degrees, Dr. Huhnke has worked in public utilities as an associate engineer from 2008-2013. He spent multiple years in private consulting in fiber optics, erosion control and stormwater management. While in private consulting, he was an adjunct. He has multiple publications, and his areas of interests are in GIS/asset management, Internet of Things/physical infrastructure and construction safety/industrial hygiene.
Outside of the College, Huhnke likes to visit unusual sites, such as Superfund sites and historic surveying markers, and enjoys the outdoors.
