About: Growing up, Brianna Giammarco’s fascination with sign language became a defining aspect of her life. From an early age, she felt a profound connection to the expressive and inclusive nature of ASL. This passion led her to pursue a degree in ASL education. Giammarco is originally from Pittsburgh but moved to Cleveland to pursue her passion – sign language. She proudly accepted a position at Tri-C teaching amazing students who, in turn, teach her valuable insights from unique perspectives.
Beyond the walls of the classroom, Giammarco’s enthusiasm for ASL extends into the realms of pop culture. Whether it's spotting ASL in movies like "A Quiet Place" or TV shows like "Hawkeye" and "Switched at Birth," she delights in showcasing the language's prevalence in unexpected places.
Giammarco eagerly hopes to see more students join her ASL classroom, fostering a growing community and spreading the beauty of American Sign Language.
